With the RSM410 IML/MX-DIGI-VARICUT, Schobertechnologies has developed a technically highly complex rotary cutting machine for the production of IML labels, which represents the perfect and economical solution for medium and small production runs.

 

The new, revolutionary hybrid drive technology (VARICUT) also makes it possible to combine continuous and intermittent processes during the cutting process. Thanks to the modern technology, a large number of different cutting sizes can be covered easily and efficiently with only one tool.

The use of high-precision magnetic cylinders guarantees an optimal and safe holding power of the cutting plate. The magnetic cylinders, installed in high-performance die cutting modules, are equipped with: 

 

  • preset and calibrated cutting pressure
  • high-precision bearing assemblies and housings
  • micrometric die wear compensation (GCS)
  • central activated quick magnetic/anvil disengagement (without loss of registration)

The RSM machine has a full width vacuum conveyor to transport the cut IML labels. The use of a multiple vacuum chamber ensures better product handling and means that no further adjustments are required when changing product design/die cut pattern as well as material grammage.

By using robotization and automation, the product handling is absolutely safe and efficient. The automated delivery is designed in such a way that different products with the same print image can be stacked.

  • in heavily nested configuration or combining very large/long and small products in order to maximise the use of materials
  • with continuous web speed of up to 50 m/min
  • universal fast interchangeable pick-up plates take up products at synchronized high speed and stack them non-stop into a dual piling cassette system
